Marioni is famous for ongoing concept art and the book The Act of Drinking Beer with Friends is the highest art form that began in the 1970s and which he continued to perform regularly in his studio before the COVID pandemic. The works of Sculpture, Drawings and one Painting refer to this performance through images of a cocktail, beer bottles, a hand holding a cigar and other works.

During the opening, Marioni will give a performance by drawing a work of art on the wall.

Tom Marioni is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and has exhibited in Europe and Japan as well as the United States. Marioni founded the Museum of Conceptual Art in 1970 and it continued until 1984. Marioni is a resident of San Francisco.
