Pune: This year, the Pune International Literature Festival, known as PILF, will be back with an online edition. The three-day event, which runs from December 21 to 23, is expected to include big international names, such as bestselling novelist Cecelia Ahern, known for PS I Love You and Where Rainbows End, James W Ziskin, author of the award-winning film Ellie Stone Mysteries, psychological thriller Liz Nugent, known for Skin Deep and Our Little Cruelties, and Mariah Fredericks, author of the mystery series Jane Prescott, among others.
The literary festival will also feature panel discussions on topics ranging from the art of writing for children and young adults to mysteries – riddle and intrigue, mythology-fantasy or reinterpretation, 50 Shades of Empowerment. , Making Business Humanesque, Sales vs Content, and more.
A session on urban writers was also organized, with writers Sudha Menon, Salil Desai and R Raj ââRao. This year, a series of round tables in Marathi was also introduced, covering topics such as âPuran Kathanche Itihasatale Sthaanâ, with speakers Ashok Rana, Lily Joshi and Prakash Akolkar, âBadalta Streewaadâ, with speakers Aparna Mahajan, Tamanna Inamdar and Madhuri Talwalkar and âGaaoo Santanchya Kavitaâ, with panelists Ramchandra Dekhane and Tanaji Patil. The eighth edition of PILF took place online in December 2020.
