WHAT we are looking for:

DMHA Architecture + Interiors is growing and is looking for a Senior Designer for our growing business in Santa Barbara, CA.

We are looking for an experienced senior designer to help provide leadership in all facets of design with a strong background in architecture, art and multiple building typologies. This includes, but is not limited to, master planning, building design, detailed design, and a solid understanding of how buildings are constructed. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have experience leading people, hold a degree in architecture and (7) years or more of experience. Drawing and sketching skills, both hand and computer, are required. As an integral part of our business, the individual will work both independently and collaboratively within the project team. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in drawing development in Revit and rendering skills are required.

WHAT you bring:

  • Design a leadership experience on projects of several types.
  • Solid background in architecture and art
  • (7) or more years of experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Degree in architecture or related field.
  • On track to get an architect’s or interior designer’s license (ideal, but not required).
  • Develop drawings by hand and using Revit and computer rendering programs.
  • An understanding of building techniques and systems.

The candidate must be a US citizen or have permanent resident status. Candidate must be willing to relocate to the Santa Barbara area, but hybrid remote work may be considered.
