I envy a center for engineering, architecture, project planning

the institution does not have a visible athletics master plan linked to fundraising where its alumni, fans, VT friends, rookies, future students can go and see and see what Reach For Excellence will look like. Each project you cited is a fragmented individual project with no vision of driving the entire sports complex behind, other than that they needed updating to meet P5 standards. What’s the big secret? I HATE uva, but you can’t deny that their plan, timeline, fundraising integration, and marketing are great. And we haven’t given anything away that looks like it or to show what $ 400 million is for. Nothing that requires someone to donate. Hope you can look through these trees and see the forest. Really look at the efficiencies and the upgrades they create, which we could do the same with a little thought and not just adding 40 year old buildings. I guess my expectations and pride for VT are just higher than others. You didn’t mention Olympic / Unreviewed Sports, Sports Science, and Leadership / Career Development which are all covered in their plan. What are we doing or planning in these areas and where is it marketed, located, visible? I also showed the Pitt’s Victory Heights campaign today, but I also don’t aspire to a degree from there. Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer. Someone has to do it because it took a bond with Baylor to open our eyes to the gaps. All we had to do was google or go to Charlottesville.
