job description: We are looking for a very talented and motivated designer to join our growing business. This position will start on a part-time basis with the aim of progressing to a full-time position and ultimately an important role in the growth of the company. The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn, will be very talented in design with strong rendering and graphic design skills; as well as excellent organizational and personal time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sets of drawings and details under the supervision of a project architect

  • Produce renderings for designs and detailed architectural features to be built

  • Design studies using computer and 3D drawings in all phases of project delivery

  • Product and specification research

  • Constant desire to learn the process of licensing and code analysis

  • Engage with clients, consultants and suppliers in a highly professional manner

  • Open to travel for projects outside of Los Angeles

  • Trips to Los Angeles Building & Safety for project reviews and inquiries

  • Site visits for design and construction reviews

Qualifications:

  • Professional diploma (B. Arch or M. Arch)

  • 2-4 years of professional experience

  • High level of computer literacy

  • Proficiency in Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and AutoCAD programs

  • Additional skills in Revit rendering software (3DS Max, Lumion, Twinmotion)

  • Understanding of construction details and methods

  • Personal management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, good speech and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

  • Is authorized to work in the USA
